Sierra J Andersen

Take a peek at my latest shoot with Sierra J Andersen of Wilhelmina New York and CGM Miami! Every year we update her portfolio with new fitness / swim shots and she always serves. We took these in Coney Island, One of our favorite places to shoot because of all the bright colors. With features in Shape, Self & Fitness magazine just last year... I'm so excited to see what 2017 has in store for this girl 💛

John & Faeben's Engagement Session

I’m writing this blog post from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico — A place dear to my heart as I was able to spend a month here with my mom & sister while growing up! Tomorrow, this place becomes even more special as the site of the first destination wedding of my life. Obviously I'm bursting with excitement over the scenery, but the main thing that has me all fired up to be here is not this most gorgeous location — it is the couple that is uniting tomorrow! Not only are John & Faeben quite possibly one of the most stunning couples I’ve ever photographed, they could be the sweetest two people around. Literally. If you don’t believe me, watch their proposal video, here: Tender alert.

On the eve of their wedding day, I’m happy to share the complete set of their engagement photo session, which we shot out in the North Carolina countryside earlier this summer. These two just radiate happiness. Can you see it?! I can’t wait to see the smiles on their friends & families’ faces as they are wed on the beach this weekend! Congrats Faeben & John!! Thank you for having me here :) #YorksInLove!

Courtney & Matthew's Wedding Day

Held at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Courtney & Matthew's beautiful wedding matched the two of them -- classic, stylish, and a touch wild. It was so much fun to shoot this event, having been there for some of the major moments in Courtney's life thus far. I can't wait to see where life takes this adventurous, hard-working couple! You two deserve it all. xox

Brittanie & Brian: She said yes - A Proposal on the Brooklyn Bridge

They hadn't even lived in New York a full week yet, but Brian was more than ready to pop the question to his longtime girlfriend Brittanie on the Brooklyn Bridge. He said the ring was burning in his pocket, and after traveling home to North Carolina to get permission from Brit's father, he was finally ready. I am so excited I was there to capture the moment, which Brian perfectly planned at sunset.

Thank you so much for letting me be there to capture this moment -- it was my first time on the Brooklyn Bridge and something I'll always remember, too! Congratulations to these fresh New Yorkers!

Chrysanthi & Tim

Being such a fan of natural light, I can't lie and say I wasn't a tad bit nervous to hear that ALL of the portraits with bride Chrysanthi and her husband TIm would have to take place once the sun went down. But with the streets of Baltimore sparking and the help of my trusty assistant Emma, we were able to capture this gorgeous pair shining without the sun.
